Professor Maciej Abramowicz

MA in Romance literature and languages, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, Lublin, Poland (1977). Therein PhD (1986) and postdoctoral thesis (1996). Has cooperated since 2005 with the Centre for Studies on the Classical Tradition in Poland and East-Central Europe (OBTA) at the University of Warsaw, transformed into the Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies “Artes Liberales” (IBI AL), and subsequently into Faculty of  “Artes Liberales”. Since 2011 a permanent member of the scholarly staff.

Scholarly interests :

The literature and culture of France, in particular the Middle Ages ; the culture and literature of French-speaking Canada.
